  1. We appreciate all your comments regarding this family's way of life in a remote community in Ethiopia and for raising awareness about the poverty in these villages. During our ten-day stay, our team communicated with locals, and the main concerns were the lack of hygiene, nutrition, basic resources, transportation, medical clinics, and education – these are the issues we refer to as poverty. While we cannot cater to all their needs, our goal is to provide quality education and listen with an open mind.

  2. I felt bad at first for thinking…but it looks cozy, well lit, big on the inside and has a sectioned area i guess to sleep…then i came to the comments and realized this is their way for their geographical area. God bless them i do wish they had more but why spoil less with more.

  3. To the people who are going gaga and claim that this is not poverty, read the pinned comment of the uploader and stop being so hypocritical. If you find this life so wonderful, would you like to change places? I wouldn't think so. Living in luxury, you can afford to be superficial and condescending from a distance, can't you?

  4. Love the skillfully-made, environmentally friendly and sustainable huts. These people don't leave massive footprints on the planet like the average first world person. The only thing is their attitude to women and animals is often extremely primitive and cruel, especially in the places touched by islam.

  5. I think their architecture is awesome. Being able to make shelter from the area around you, and manage to feed your family from the farming you do on your property, amazing ❤

  6. This is not poverty, they have the basic needs, all that needs to be done are a few refreshments around the clayhouse…. once its fixed, it will look so awesome 👌

  7. This is not poverty, when you go to other countries for vacation this is what they are getting paid millions to replicate with modern furniture.. I love that hut imagine a few tweaking here there and you would have yourself an even more beautiful space ❤
