The facts is that the Africans were paid pace runners. Pacers are like personal trainers running alongside with their runners and they are used in every marathon by every nationalities/race. But here they stay with their runner a little too long or too close while at the finishing line. The pacers must be new at this.

If there is more loss in revenue allowing corruption than to ban corruption from chinese atheltes, then maybe the international federation will make changes. The business of sports is to do what will give more revenue and the audience and consumers are what provide that. A chinese athlete winning a beijing marathon probably generated more revenue than another african.
