With 60% of Uganda’s coffee being exported to the European Union, it is not yet clear how President Museveni plans to deal with the question of value addition to all exports with specific reference to coffee in regard to the EU. Nevertheless, the president affirmed Uganda’s stance for non-export of raw commodities.
