  1. This journalist is biased , one of the top reason why Ethiopia face such debt crisis is due to the war launched to its citizen like #Tigray genocidal war. The Ethiopia’s government used very expensive drone technology to kill its citizen and yet the war shifts from #Tigray to Amhara region.

  2. This guy is a member of The Failed State Cadres. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. The killer government is already failed. The corruption is out of control, just see what happens to the Ethiopian Airlines which was once the best airlines in Africa even competitive in the world but now it’s changed to worst bus station . The failed government is killing the country too fast.

  3. Off course you girum chala is Oromo, he is standing for his race not for the truth, the only problem is the racist stupidest ethnic Oromo gov't leadershiop, devaluing everything including other our humanity.

  4. Girum do not give an excuse of the dam for currency crisis in our country the so called leader Abiy he doesn’t have any Knowledge of leading the country rather than
war after war against his own opposition tribes

  5. Is he a politician or a journalist? Why doesn't he want to reveal the true reasons? The Renaissance Dam isn't the primary cause of the dollar shortage; the main reasons are extravagant projects like the Chaka project (Palace), costing billions of dollars, as stated by the Prime Minister to the HPR. Other projects, such as parks and recreational areas, which should be undertaken by private investors, contribute to the issue. Additionally, the government's inclination towards war instead of diplomatic negotiations is evident in war in regions like Amhara, Oromia, and the recent war in Tigray. Mr. Girum seems hesitant to address these fundamental issues. 🤔

  6. This dude called Girum Chala lies to cover his bosses ass. The main cause of economic crises is mismanagement of the country by naive PM that leads to recurrent war across the country. The country is in fact on the verge of collapse.

  7. Dear CGTN, nobody in Ethiopia takes you seriously so long you keep this clown as your journalist. Do your reasrch and you will find out that he is already in bed with the government and he has been promised a multi story building and hefty fund from his partner in crime Abiye Ahemed .
