  1. After watching this 2 years ago I tried a restaurant in my area and been hooked ever since. I’ve tried many dishes and even have my kids hooked lol. The way he explained it was exactly how it tasted when I tried it. I used to order so much of the bread that the owners of the restaurant asked me to place ahead notice because it takes days to make that bread.

  4. Mark Wiens if you ever come to Nigeria. Come to the Southeastern part of the country. Cross River States to be precise because thats were I was born. My state is said to have the best Nigerian food in the country.
You must request the followuing dishes.
    1. Authentic Nigerian Jollof Rice with old layer hens [grilled], plantains and moi moi as side dishes [also known as party rice & one of the nation's national dishes]
    2. Edikaikong soup with pounded yam fufu [a favorite of village chiefs and kings]
    3. Catfish Peppersoup [this one is my favorite]
    4. And last but not the least, Nigerian Suya [probably the best barbecued meat on the planet]
    Cheers

  5. I've made this dish once. Making it again as I type this. I have had Doro Wat many times in restaurants the world over and I am always amazed at the flavor of this dish. Is there a recipe available that this family used in the video? #delish

  6. The hospitality top notch.. Not to take the fun and respect from this; makes me think that the African hospitality is what had the colonisers take our land/resources..
    Hospitality is ingrained in us..

  7. i loved this content, as i see ETHOPIANS have huge generosity & kindness towards their guests, the way they enjoyed offering Marks after lots of HARDWORK right from cutting chicken & curry preparation, i was pleased to watch ethopian culture like my southindian village where i feel my parents do that to their guests, moreover, Mark videos shows culture of different nations, a big thumbsup & a bow to mark
