Ethiopia signs agreement to use Somaliland’s Red Sea port
Ethiopia has signed a deal with Somalia’s breakaway region of Somaliland to secure access to the Red Sea.
The deal is expected to mean Ethiopia will be allowed to use a coastal military base.
Somaliland’s president says that, in return, Ethiopia will officially recognise Somaliland.

Ethiopia already has the Somali region of Jigjiga. But why is Ethiopia still fighting to have another land or sea that belongs to Somali? How about if they can ask Eritrean government to give them Asab port.

Ethopia if it wants business we are ready but they will not get millitary port or land they want to call it is theirs. Somaliland and Abiy Ahmed are creating huge and dangereous isue to ethopia and Somalia. So my advice is ethopian we had good business relationship so dont distroy it because Abey is distroying your country and is following order from France and west is using him in order to creat conflict, while France is making mioney by saling weapons to you.
Somalia will never going to give their water or land and ethopian government knows well. So dont start war that you are not going to win. Also Moose Biixi is not going to last in Hargeysa bc he is killing it is awn people and all north side of somalia are having huge conflict which some of the city are all ready joint to rest of somalia and some are in the process to joint to Somalia. therefore there is no somaliland left and Abey knows and most of the ethopian people know that too. The only option Ethopian and Somalia is that they need to work together for the safety for every one and the progress of both country.
Making deal with a country that doesn’t exist is basically s huge insult to the real country that owns the territories. Any foreign soldier who enters Somalia is basically declaring war.
