Ethiopia is experiencing one of the worst droughts in its history, and much of its land is becoming less and less fertile. Some organizations are working on the development of new inputs, mostly natural, to try and revive crops.

There is a civil war raging in Ethiopia and these people are talking about desertification. That is how cut off the west is from reality.
There are beneficial techniques, someones gotta tell em/teach em.
Fertalizing and farming the same plot every season causes issues with yeild a fallow plot allows for restored fertility over time. Should probably be farming multiple things on the land hes got and changing things every planting season
