History is what it is, the things in the past that happened, and there’s still a few holocaust survivors to this day. Israel has a history of gaining the promised land (God used them in the Bible to bring judgement on the wicked people that occupied the land at the time, and yes God also used the nations around Israel to bring judgement on the Israelites. As God said, “the land will vomit out the wicked!” So whether it was Israel being vomited out or another nation God’s word stood true. Many times Israel was scattered and taken into captivity and a number of times they returned back to the promised land by God’s grace. And finally since after 70AD this nation returned to the promised land after WW2. It’s interesting how many times God kicked them out of the promised land to bring them back again. God always promised to bring them back to their promised land. I understand why God fussed over disciplining and loving Israel as He was doing it so that all the prophets and the Messiah

Yes, God has achieved His chief mission through the people in of Israel – that all men may have hope and an everlasting abundant future in the Kingdom of Heaven. (Life here was not designed to last forever, but instead is a platform for us to come to peace with God before the perishable grave has it inevitable vanity)
“Israel” means to struggle with God (this is representative of all mankind). And yes Israel often went against God and was punished for it, in some cases the nation repented and was spared of punishment. Even up till today the people of Israel have denied the New Testament of Christ, but the end cannot come until they accept Him.
Yes according to the Christ killing the innocent is wrong, and thus, “Vengeance is Mine!” Said the Lord. The fullness of justice will be administered on that Great Day of Judgement that God has reserved for His wrath on all wrong doers.
Christ said the battle is not against “flesh and blood” – but the world doesn’t understand this, so it goes to war against flesh and blood… sad we don’t get to see the deep love God offers us as an alternative choice, we instead embrace hate. But God isn’t narcissistic, He allows us the right to make our own choices as it was in the beginning, though He is not mocked, the evil that make hateful choices will be held accountable.
