This vlog captures our journey through one of the world’s most closed-off countries, starting in Asmara, where Italian-era cafés, art deco buildings, and quiet,…

We loved Eritrea! This video aims to show the world the beauty of this lesser-known destination. We see it being compared to "North Korea" and we were curious to find out. It turned out to be much more awesome than expected! Shoutout to its amazing people!

Thank you for witnessing the Western perspective on North Korea, as the Eritrean government believes in self-reliance instead of depending on Western aid. This is why they resist pressure to conform. The Eritrean people are hardworking and very friendly compared to any African country. You have seen for yourself how they treat you as a visitor. Thank you for making this video for others to see and judge for themselves. Yes, we do not have high-tech equipment because the Ethiopian government lies repeatedly to ensure Eritrea remains the most hated country and not an independent nation. Please visit again; I just returned from Eritrea, and it's the most loving country. Ethiopia depended on Western aid, and they invaded Eritrea for so long, and they do not want Eritrea to be a successful nation.

Thank you for rhe great video. Did you organise the trip to Massawa and the islands before visiting Eritrea or was it possible to organise once you are there? Are there travel agencies in Asmara you can approach when you arrive or do you need permits and oeganization all set out before traveling to the country? I am visiting there this November, after 40+ yrs 😀

I'm glad you visit Eritrea, Eritrea have so much potential if it wasn't for the western sanctions it could have been much developed. Eritrea is the only country in Africa doesn't receive any foreign aid nor receive any foreign assistance from the IMF and world bank.

Eritrea is the strongest nation in Africa. It is the only country going through all the sanctions to have their own futures.

Eritrea is a beautiful country with amazing people. But unfortunately the west they are destroying that country with sanction for two decades 😢the country is isolated because they try for many years to regime change unfortunately they couldn't make it. The people of Eritrea they knew already the plan of the west so they keep their strength together. Hope the powerful countries leave in peace this blessed country. I've been living in Eritrea for almost three years and I can't stop thinking about that country and the beautiful people. Next time please explain your followers why Eritrea is behind.
