I was a victim of one of the police man called David aka( Alepa) in early 90’s before I travelled to london. I almost got killed in G.I.D Ikeja, he sent his colleagues to follow me to my house that night to collect just #5,000. I would have been dead if I had declined. I did wrote petition to the I G then and it was superintendent Shodipo that handled the cases then, I learned that he had retired as A I G, but on the long run, I was persuaded to not push further just because they said if he was dismissed the only option for him will be to join the arm robbers. It was a big demoralisation statement to be hearing from a then senior officer who was meant to handle the case. I still remember inspector Akinwande who shuttled my house and police head quarter molony. My take to this is that, let the police also be kill because they are also committing arm robbery. Big sham!
