  1. Vote Anc and have youths fromthe justice department to work in the canet as politicians and independent outside youths to work i the political process and the platforms can still watch closely

  2. As usual all these splinter parties talk the talk the DA should let all these so called parties Administer and Govern the Western Cape what a joke they talk utter rubbish lets see how much budget they get from National treasury can they wave a magic wand and for example deal with the 20O imformal settlements illligal imigrants Gangsterism and Drugs Alcohol Abuse Law Enforcement education jobs load sheading inaqulity segregation the poorest areas they wont even get 3% of the vote so they have the skills. Knowledge and exspirence in mainstream Politics to Administer and Govern Locally and Nationally my answer would be a big NO

  3. Nothing will change until the system change. End political parties. Direct election of independent candidates. More power to local government, less power to national government.

  4. ACDP involving community, is loving your neighbour as Christ commands. Neighbourhood watches are the communities in action. It is putting more eyes on the ground.
The answer as to how to motivate people to get involved is one huge challenge.
Experience has taught me that patrols are only done by the same few individuals. To keep them involved & motivated is very important in all NHW's. If anyone has a suggestion let me have it please.

  5. omw wearing the Keffiyeh & clearly not understanding what is truly going on in the Israel / Palestine conflict Muhammed Haron is a Professor but not of History

  6. Good day Lester & CapeTalk Fam,

I met Alan Winde in person as I have many DA and ANC ministers and MPs so this opinion is constructive criticism as an APOLITOCAL.

Alan Winde, the Premier of the Western Cape, has had a varied career marked by both accomplishments and controversies.

As Premier, Winde has focused on economic growth, job creation, and addressing social challenges. His efforts in promoting business-friendly policies and investing in infrastructure have been praised by many, leading to improvements in the province's economy and quality of life for its residents.

However, Winde's tenure has not been without criticism. Some have accused him of favoring big business over the interests of ordinary citizens, particularly in issues such as housing and healthcare. His handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, while generally seen as proactive, has also faced scrutiny, with some claiming that certain measures were too harsh or not implemented effectively.

Moreover, Winde has been embroiled in negative publicity due to allegations of corruption and mismanagement within his administration. These allegations have led to calls for investigations and raised doubts about his leadership.

Despite these challenges, Winde remains a prominent figure in South African politics. His supporters argue that his experience in business and his dedication to improving the Western Cape make him a valuable leader, while critics continue to question his decisions and integrity. As with any public figure, Winde's performance and career are subject to ongoing debate and scrutiny. #TheUnassumingBilluonaire
