Election 2024: The will of desperate politicians will not prevail – Pres. Akufo-Addo | AM News

I am puzzled that Ghanaians are looking forward to elections in December 2024 in the midst of the indifference of both sides of government (opposition and sitting) to the urgent emergency we face from illegal mining and the influx of immigrants from Asia taking over our micro economy.

The fingers must be pointed at both sides of the elected governments (NDC and NPP) without ceasing! The governments clamour for us to give them power. When we give them the power they sit down and give speeches decrying galamsey and do nothing. For 14 years Mahama and Akuffo Addo have done nothing. European Eunion has even alerted ghana to the environmental calamity we face. The government is still indifferent! What did they want the power for? To only write their names in the history books?

Galamseyers are trying to make a livelihood criminally. The government is the law enforcer, but if the governments operatives are involved, why will they enforce the law?
A criminal case must be brought against both Mahama and Nana Addo goverments! They have done enough sabotage to the country than the Double Salary, or Airbus, or SSNIT corruption cases.

It is not enough to vote any party out. What they are doing is at least criminal negligence. They must be prosecuted by an independent tribunal. The people must call for an emergency tribunal. We must not vote this elections. Both NPP and NDC officials of the last 14 years must be prosecuted!

Can Akuffo Addo hear himself when he speak? after making atrocious statement; i will not hand over power to John Mahama, he says what? Desperate "politicians" I am sorry I can't help mysel but to our president has lost his brain

Got defeated by mahama on his first attempt at presidency

In 2016 majority of Ghanaian voted for you on humanitarian grounds but in the end where did you take Ghana too?

Your first term resulted in your party losing over 30 seats in parliament.

It’s just that Ghanaians are fools if not I don’t think you deserved any platform to even speak as president.

Your legacy is the president who led us to bankruptcy.
