Egyptian Museum Cairo, Egypt (First Floor) Walking Tour

This walk was filmed on the evening of January 20th, 2019. I had limited time to film the museum since it was closing soon so this is a QUICK walk through. I walk past many exhibits. There was also very little light since it was dark outside and much of the museum is lit through the windows to the outside. Given that, I hope you enjoy this tour…

  1. I have a photo of my Egyptian father and 3 of his friends as young men atop the Great Pyramid, Dad swinging off the aerial up there with a Stella Atois in his hand…it’s pretty cool

  2. Thank you for posting!! So much to see, I could spend days there, literally. Wish we knew the significance of the statue/structure at the 30:00 min mark, exactly, def more than meets the eye!?

  3. I had the honor of visiting Egypt in 2009 and went to the Cairo museum… This brings back so many amazing memories for me. Egypt is such a beautiful country ❤️❤️❤️

  4. These granite artifacts have been machined. This was not done by hand. There are even machine marks and core holes on the granite? Whoever came up with the idea that this was done by banging on the granite with a rock, needs their head checked.

  5. If you still can't tell, the ancient egyptians were Asiatic. Egypt was ruled by foreigners. The natives are black. But the pharoahs are clearly Asian. So is the culture. Notice their obsession with cats. And how the asians still use symbols as their writing today. These pharaohs are not black.
