Flo baby, thanks so much for reviving our "olden days" soup 😂😂😂
That's what we call egusi soup in our place
I love cooking it seperately and then combining it
This is the only way we Cameroonians cook ogbono soup. I remember making it once in Uni and my Yoruba friends were so surprised that I mix ogbono and egusi. They ate it and till today always ask me to make it.
Thanks alot for the video. Can I put pumpkin leaf as alternative for bitter leaf in this soup?
The soup is much o!! Full pot!! Its like I should bring my plate oo. #I enjoyed the tutorial though
ogbonor is not extinct oOoOO the soup belong to my people the esan land and egwusi belong to the Benin, the soup has never been an Igbo soup.

Biko, this combo should go extinct. This one no follow for me
Let it stay extinct! 🥺😢 this soup traumatized me growing up.
Please at what time do I put okpei if I want to
Ive not heard this one! Egusi and okra though
Madam
You didn't add your seasoning cubes
I remember it when I lived in Port Harcourt and in boarding school. Yes I am from the olden days ooo, I will be cooking it today with ogasi leaves to eat with yellow garri.
That’s how Cameroonians cook ogbono soup. They use uziza preferably. But they could also use Ugu or bitter leaf. They also cook it in onepot. Add ogbono after egusi is done.
Your recipe is awesome I just tried it and my soup is wonderful 👏 😋.
Thank u
Heaven knows I hate equsi and ogbonno or okro combo
