Eating the local food Nshima in Zambia

I love eating local where ever I am in the world. In this video I bring you along to a local restaurant here in Livingstone, Zambia where I enjoy some of the Nshima. I really love the the local cuisine here. There are always healthy vegetables which makes me so happy.

  1. I’m really enjoying your videos! I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia in 99-2000. My family and I are relocating back to Zambia this year (I married a Zambian), and it’s great to see all of the familiar sights and sounds. Can’t wait to eat the delicious food! 🇿🇲😋

  2. Just so you know – at the restaurant the server there said "broiler chicken" not "broiled chicken". In Zambia they have both "village chickens" which are considered healthier since they were raised free range (with a more varied diet that the chicken finds in the village) versus the broiler chicken which is typically raised in less free range conditions and fed a less varied diet (commercially bred chickens that are meant to get fatter, quicker) .
