  1. You kinda explained nothing. The reasons behind the " black and white" in fact it was filmed in infrared not black and white. Denis Villeneuve created Geidi Prime under a black sun and wanted to create the feel of a world that under a black sun instead of giving the world color it destroys color. You can see this during the sceenes of Geidi Prime when the Barron is floating towards the stage, when in the shade, its in color when exposed to the light its black and white. He also wanted to give the feeling of a old WWII movie as well. Another instresting thing during the Geidi Prime sceen. When the Bene Gesserit entered into the stadium, they are covered. Alluding to the fact that Geidi Primes history of massive industry and pollution lead the planet to have no protective ozone and the ultra Violet rays from the sun along with the radiation that could harm or kill someome who is not Harkonnen due to the Harkonnens embrasing their industry and polluted world. Why i also think they have no hair due to the radiation from the sun bombarding the planet

  2. I absolutely loved the Geidi Prime look. As I watched it in theaters, it kinda struck hard and left me in awe. It actually gave off such an alien planet feel. And its not just black and white, it's "The Black Sun of Geidi Prime that interferes with the color spectrum, the way light is refracted, where color is washed out" Its just so damn cool.

  3. Giedi Prime and the House Harkonnen armies remind me of the Grineer in Warframe.

Warframe is probably inspired by Dune. Which sci fi franchise doesn't?
