I wanna play devils advocate here real quick to see if I can understand the outrage here a bit better debates done properly are always a learning experience for one or both parties. So far as far as I’m aware everyone saying free Palestine is because the Palestinian population is suffering during the Israeli-Hamas war and they feel for the innocent. And I think that’s something everybody can get behind, innocent people shouldn’t be dying in war. However what seems to be ignored, or at least downplayed is that Gaza, an area only 65 square km bigger than NYC is a warzone, and people die in war. To call it a genocide I feel is a bit extreme. A tragedy for certain but only 5% of Gazas population is dead in only 6 months of war in such a small area. And Gaza isn’t even the only Palestinian area people seem to be forgetting about West Bank, which is not under siege and has an even Larger Palestinian population and is not being bombed to hell. I’m not condoning the deaths of civilians or the targeting of civilians that some IDF soldiers have perpetuated. But I think calling it a genocide is a bit of an overstatement
I’m gonna be completely honest, I really couldn’t care for the Israel Palestine war. I know that sounds really screwed up, but it feels weird that we have to care about this war that doesn’t involve us other than economy based. Our two biggest oil providers are fighting, that’s the only reason why it feels like I should care. There’s several other wars going on right now that aren’t even being covered with just as bad genocide’s going on. The only difference between this one and the other wars is that these guys are our biggest oil providers, are we not going to talk about how NATO is basically forcing the Ukraine and Russia war into a stalemate so we can keep testing our military weapons? Or how several African and South American countries are starting the fight? Seriously, I just don’t get the logic. Maybe it’s just the autism kicking in IDK, but please don’t send me death threats just because of my thoughts.

Israel is NOT the country that is preventing Palestinian's from living, its their own terrorist government that is preventing them form leaving the country, find food, water and safety because the government is using them as political pawns and meat shields to protect their war factories.
Hamas attacked them first as they have been for the past 40 years and Israel has gotten fed up at them launching missiles into populated area with no military presence. When Hamas attacked in October they filmed it like a sort of game and now Hamas is taking people hostage and holding missiles in elementary schools. The tf is this Israel's fault.
