  1. MTN Group's service revenue from South Africa surpassed that of Nigeria, traditionally its largest market by revenue. South Africa's revenue increased modestly by 3%, reaching 10.4 billion rand in Q1 2024, up from 10.1 billion rand in Q1 2023.6 days ago

  2. NIGERIA Already has proudly Nigerian founded and manufactured Motor brands,
The one of the ways we can support Nigeria is by finding their way in the South African motor industry Market…
There's too much bragging on social media as NIGERIA is always compared to be better than South Africa…
But as South Africans we're mostly interested to support our African countries,
That's why South Africa is developing Ghana roads and railways..

  3. Multichoice is South Afican. Nigeria does not have a middle class. That is the reason. In South Africa we have even more alternatives than Nigeria. You can make up all the excuses in the world for Nigeria. The truth is that the Nigerian economy is very weak. In 2024 the Nigerian economy is at $253 billion . The GDP of Joburg alone is $223 billion. Imagine 21 million people in Nigeria and 5,7 million people in Joburg. Stop comparing SA to any other African country. It will give you heart palpations. Concentrate on building your countries and stop dreaming.

  4. youre comparing a place with no electricity, no security, no water, no food, wholseale theft, tribalism through the roof, terrorism and brain drain. Versus a thriving secure, safe abundant economical country.

  5. SA cannot have more purchasing power than Nigeria, you guys are comparing with dstv, who have time for DSTV this modern days, when we are have alot of online streaming network, bro every house you see in Nigeria is cash, every car you see on Nigeria road is cash, everything is cash and Nigerians spending every day, black SA pay installment and whereby they no longer pay, they claim those things back and blacklist them, i heard a lot of black SA are blacklisted, it is a beautiful country no doubt, but how many of this black SA can afford this luxury, i heard most of them lives in location, local areas

  6. Even Kenyans are ahead of black SA, go check their start up, it is only Kenya that can compete with Nigerians in terms of intelligence, this Kenyans do big things, black SA are all over here trolling on Nigerians, you black SA can never be richer than Nigerians, just show me one black SA doing great thing in an international space?

  7. The reason why they splash money on women in sa they looking for a ID card to paddle drugs around the world these guys are a shame to the African Ubuntu you are killing our brothers the day is coming

  8. In 1932 it was estimated the annaul spending power of Black South Africans to be between £25 – 30 million and today it's R400 billion per year. We have always been the most accomplished and the riches black people in Africa. We've always been ahead in all areas

  9. What do you need DSTV for when you have internet to watch what you could watch on DSTV, you guyz just Dey talk are you in South Africa 🇿🇦 me I’m here Im here South Africa 🇿🇦 and DSTV don’t have much subscribers anymore in SA coz we all use fibre obtic installed in all houses and only few uses DSTV in SA, and moreover DSTV don’t have what to give to the public

  10. Many people have said that population size alone is insignificant. This strengthens the argument as to how countries with smaller populations are wealthier like Norway, Sweden, Finland etc.

  11. This lady defends yhe fact that Naija has fewer DSTV subscribers by saying people have alternatives such as Radio that is why they do not have subscriptions 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  12. If SA get rid off the ANC and bring in the DA to fix SA econony SA can take its rightful spot being the real Giant off Africa. The ANC has been too nice to Nigeria and to the rest off african states in terms of conducting business as concerned. The ANC became sloppy and got slipping when the MTN was fined in Nigeria to boost Nigeria GDP. When u compare what SA gives Nigeria in terms off employment and SA big corporations that pay taxes over the in Nigeria dont match what Nigeria gives SA.

  13. That is pure gabbage, Nigerians have way more purchasing power than any other African country. Some years ago I talked to a Virgin airlines executive, her exact words, " our most peofitable route is london to lagos". They even order pizza from england.

  14. We have many Nigerians in South Africa, yet they haven't learned the basics of economics. Economics 101: The behaviour of a typical South African individual is that of spending money on goods and services that they don't produce, particularly on month ends. On the other hand, other Africans, including Nigerians tend to hoard money, they are only interested in selling and accumulating money while shunning the expenditure side. They tend to be jacks of all trades, thus inhibiting circulation of money. In such societies where people are multiskilled and self-reliant, the velocity of Money is sluggish thus rendering the economy stagnant. Nigerians must do away with their selfish behaviour and think as a collective, otherwise they will never see economic prosperity despite the sheer population size and natural resources endowment.

  15. If Nigeria 🇳🇬 could come better Africa will be a better place I am South African 🇿🇦 and I love South Africa 🇿🇦 but We need to support Nigeria 🇳🇬.

  16. Why Nigerians always compare and jealousy so against South Africa, we are just a 30 years old Democratic Country with 58 million + population, who are still trying to find their feet, South Africa is competing against South Africa.

  17. South Africans have always had more purchasing power than Nigerians even during apartheid, our standard of living is way too higher than of Nigerians thats why you see SA not sending millions of its poor broke unskilled uneducated people to Nigeria fir better life but Nigeria does that to SA. I think Nigeria should compare itself with Togo, Zimbabwe, Somalia, Congo etc countries that are on the same level with it

  18. People keep on saying "who watchs DSTV ,we are streaming now" fun fact in Netflix, amazon ,showmax south Africa is still number 1 in Africa!

Even an idiot can see that most top 10 companies are in South Africa most malls are in sout Africa ,most expensive car manufacturers are in South Africa most expensive clothing brands are in south Africa ,the naria is far weak than south africa !

So the question is why would all this companies go to south Africa other than seeing its buying power ?! BC's were sure hell don't have the biggest population

  19. It's expected..GDP per Capita of South Africa 🇿🇦 is $7055 and Nigeria 🇳🇬 is $2065..So South Africas GDP per Capita is triple the amount of Nigeria so that's why 🇿🇦 they have disposable income to afford lifestyle comforts

  20. This is absolutely 💯 correct, hence we have Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Bentley and Lamborghini biggest dealerships in the Southern Hemisphere. Also your elite brands like LV, Prada, D&G, Gucci, Jimmy Choo etc are found in South Africa 🇿🇦 and 🇪🇬 in the African continent.

  21. Majority of people in SA don’t actually have DStv and rely on the public broadcaster SABC, it has 4 channels serving distinct markets, then there’s free-to-air eTV which has about 2/3 channels.
DStv is mainly subscribed by the middle class, while the young people are into Amazon, Netflix, Apple TV etc

DStv however keeps people hostage by its sports content.

  22. Ayo my love. You tried really hard to find a reasonable point for Nigeria o, but it's a no show dear. I like that the brothers didn't let you do the regular propping of our leaders stupidity. If we keep trying to cushion our state, then we're praising the leaders that are sworn to drown Nigeria.
