Ive been a fan and watching the UFC for 15 years. I was under the impression that to beat a current champion, the challenger must win by unanimous decision (domination) or finish.
Sean out struck him in significant strikes and total strikes by 40!. Had him swinging at air. Sean was more accurate and consistent and landed more, defending takedowns should count as much as getting one. It’s was a very close fight but Sean imo was more consistent in all manners and dricus was just throwing hail Marry’s

What happened to having to beat the champion to become the champion. I had Strickland on top very close but I disagree with the ruling.
I think Strickland won that! DDP took him down but Sean got right back up. The only reason DDP wins that, is because of those short lived takedowns! Run that back..
Drickus won clear rounds 2 3 and 4 Strickland was on the backfoot for these thre rounds and 4 take downs headkicks and bodyshots Dana Whites opinion is nonsense

Duplessis was hungrier, more aggressive, controlled the fight, did what he wanted. All sean did stand straight. You see in the lady round is when he really tried but didn't do that throughout the fight like Duplessis

I've kinda lost track of the goings on within the UFC. I know nothing of this guy or his history . He's a good interview and seems to be honest and candid with his answers – what's not to like ? Wish I had seen the fight now.
