  1. I thought pads are changed in a washroom, for someone travelling, then trashed in there.

She threw the used pads at the employee?
Is it really possible that she changed and kept them with her?. That was madness then.

Did she maybe head to the washroom to change, after the argument, then came back?.

She might have, or not thrown the pads at the employee. Airport cameras will help.
We can't judge any of them.
    A Ugandan here 🇺🇬

  2. Kenyan airways discriminate against fellow Africans in favour of Asians and west whem boarding,i had such experience at Nairobi despite travelling as british,i have never travelled on Kenyan Airline ever since,i love more expensive Ethiopian Airline

  3. In such situation I would say 'the kq sfaff should have acted professionally and just called the security to get the passenger interrogated for even throwing the used sanitary pads at the staff(if that really happened) because there could be more than meets the eye.
Some professionals needs someone with very high self control:dealing with people of all walks of life needs someone whose emotionals are in check .

  4. I do not support this barbaric act of throwing used sanitary pad on an airline staff regardless of the circumstances . That’s an abomination. Nigeria being the largest and richest country in Africa and if the leaders have heads and abhor corruption, Nigeria should have her own national carrier airline. Because of our evil leaders, Nigeria citizens continue to suffer abuses and humiliations in the hands of other Africa brothers.

  5. Imagine if this had happened in south Africa, it would have been nasty. This incident proves once again that Africa will never ever be one. NEVER.
To add to that western countries will use that as a divide and rule tactic. They watch how we fight each other and they like that.

  6. She was offered an alternative to travel through london, so the staff were helping. She still caused problems by not understanding rhat she did not have legal documents to trtavel through europe.

  7. I am a Nigerian but stand with Kenya Airways on this, IF the story is as you narrated. It's not uncommon for people to choose a flight based on costs without an appreciation of visa requirements for transit. She should have accepted the alternate flight and written a strong letter if she was so offended by the treatment. Shouting and throwing sanitary pads is unacceptable.

  8. Waoh nigerian minister protects their own. How nice 👍. I wonder 🤔🤨 if our Kenyan politicians would have protected and fought for their own😢the Answer is definitely a BIG NO😢

  9. If there was a long delay and she needed sanitary pads, why were they asking her to prove that she needs it? You provide amenities if you’ve delayed flights. No questions asked. She shouldn’t have thrown her used pad. That’s just disgusting and honestly I truly believe she might have been in mental distress and panic. I think a man would never have asked her to prove she’s on her period. I stand with neither party.

  10. Throwing of sanitary pad is inappropriate, but what is more inappropriate is asking a lady to show proof of menstruation just because she's asking for sanitary pad which she was in need of. Bear in mind that it is also the responsibility of the Airline to verify that passengers have necessary documents before been airlifted.
