  1. I find the women’s version of this show always involves alot of complaining and whining ti be honest…btw I really enjoyed Maggie, she is so interesting and has such quiet confidence I can appreciate

  2. Thandie and Maggie speak way too much throughout this interview, I would have liked to hear more from the others. However, what they said was valuable just seemed to over power the others.

  3. This is very helpful for emerging script writers to know how to perhaps focus certain POVs of the story. What Thandie is saying is very insightful and I’m very grateful. In fact, that’s one of the reasons why I watch these ‘Actors Studios’. I am a novelist and am more drawn to bringing difficult subjects to the forefront. My first novel Soft in Flowers is about a young girl forced into marriage to a much older man by her parents, and the novel also highlights racism in a very tongue-in-cheek kinda way from an African perspective. But note then how I had a gruelling time of it trying to find representation or Publishers who would take me on. My 2nd novel is about a young man called Tangando who is a misanthropist and has mental issues. And of course listening to what these Actors have to say helps me as a Writer to focus certain aspects of the story for certain ethnicities mainly done to show the difficulties between characters and how they interact with others, based of course on what a Writer wants to bring forward about The Human Condition.

  4. The most chaotic round table ever. Angela has Queen energy she so incredibly graceful. Maggie and Thandie seem so deeply insecure and it's clearly made their choices in work go a certain way.
I have to say this but I can't stand it when people victimise themselves constantly like Thandie does. You overcome it and keep it moving. That's is strength.
Thandie mentioning her daughter in a leading role. Like she sounds soo deepy insecure.
Sandra is just iconic and Thandie was beyond irritating to watch and listen too truly.

  5. i wish this was less about womanhood and more about acting. everytime i watch a female actor roundtable, its about womandhood…a male actor round table is not about manhood, its about acting. i wanna know and i wanna hear from these great actresses about film and acting.

  6. This has to be one of the worst Roundtables I've seen. Thandie and Maggie are so tone deaf. Thandie seems to think this is her interview.

  7. All great women but Camp Moss here. She is one of the greatest actors of our time. Wishing her success in her future acting, producer, director roles.
