I love many of his theories, but I've lived in spaces of life that go against his idealologies. FIrst of all, unequally yoked is not a good mix!! I am a believer in Christ who''s been with a Muslim, Catholic and a Jehovah Witness, and oh my goodness. Smh, I can tell you some stories. No I did not "make" them nor "force" them to do anything, just mere conversation was volatile enough. Also, many black women don't go to college at all and hold down a black man, THEN get picked on later for making bad decisions and not bettering herself. Confusing to hear that black men don't see our efforts. I notice many black men, like him especially, say so much and want even more.
You cannot down a woman for not getting her education, then pick on her later for waiting to have children. Smh I've heard MANY black men placing blame on women who would give them the world. Now he says that women must get it in our heads to date a man who doesn't have it together, when men want us to have ourselves together. Then some man will try to be smart and say "You knew the nigga won't shyt when you met him". Men like that need to make up their minds. So contradictory.
So, women shouldnt hold back on relationships and families to finish school but then down the line, dudes talking about how dumb, slow and uneducated she is. I dated a guy that spoke on his ex wife like that. I agree with his last point on how many men often just want to lay black women down and it is sexual oppression. Then black women end up sexually objectify themselves. Sad cycle in our entire communites. How to get reform?
I'm somewhat agree with Dr. Umar. However, I was with my ex for 14 years. When my ex and I got together we were both in our early 20s. I was going to college at the time and he wasn't. Since I knew college could be a struggle and confusing, I encouraged him to go and provided him my old catalog. I was at this man 2 years and 4 years college graduations. I rode with this man on the highs and lows of life and he was an a**hole that would not listen to me. I have learn to pour more into myself and less into others who are just looking to drain you. You can do all that you can and some people will never appreciate what you do for them no matter what.
No Umar stop it the problem is too many black women date dusties and they keep being dusties. A man at 30 should not still be a dusty. White women do not go after dusties he has to at least work. The white women that go for the bottom feeding dusties are not wanted anyway
He is speaking on this topic from a place of ignorance. He is going off stories he has been told. Every church doesn’t have an agenda to keep black women single. And why would a Christian marry someone that isn’t Christian?? Why would someone Muslim marry someone that isn’t Muslim?? That is a recipe for divorce. It’s hard enough to stay married with the challenges in life then add something to the mix that you could easily prevent.

The Church has a problem. There are some good churches but very few. It sets up, or shall I say the Leaders set themselves up to be the only Royal Family in the church. It’s almost like England with its Monarchy! There’s the King, (Pastor), Queen, (First Lady), their Children, (Heirs), Knights and Dame hood, (Deacons and Deaconess’s) and Peasants (No Title and People who Do Not give enough Money)!!!!!!! That pretty much sums up the order of a lot of Churches Today!!!!!!
