Black Americans definitely need reparations and other economic/financial benefits. Remember for those Black folks considering Trump (Biden = Trump = WS) because as we know Trump will flip the script as well. Let's find out West's stance on reparations for Black Americans and his plan for distributing those checks and other economic/financial benefits and go from there. Remember talk is cheap.
I've had my eye on Dr. West since he announced his bid for presidency. One thing that can't be denied is he is more on code than off code. For sure he needs to definitively solidify his positions on the core issues. Or he will start to sound disingenuous. He continues to pander to this black AND brown theology. But we do have to understand that for a national race, he has to make sure he represents everyone. Where we get stuck is understanding that representing everyone doesn't mean not representing us. We need to listen carefully. While it is true you can't win the presidency without the black vote, you also can't win the presidency with ONLY the black vote. So, he does have to speak to broader issues. That said. He needs to also speak specifically to us. Leave out the brown Dr. West. Talk to the Black people. He needs to be clearer on what he is going to do for us AS he speaks about what he will do for others….
