DPP files notice of appeal against Jacque Maribe’s acquittal


The Director of Public Prosecutions has filed a notice of appeal against the high court judgment that acquitted former TV news anchor Jacque Maribe in the murder case of businesswoman Monica Kimani.

  1. A female judge with a traumatized history by men with guns should never have been allowed to try this case. Judge Nzioka was kidnapped at gunpoint by men. That alone should have disqualified her from Jowie Irungu’s trial.

  2. I support this.corruption took place here.Dennis itumbi and the statehouse of Kenya shld be investigated.they played a very big role in setting free Maribe.Since Itumbi is the man chewing maribe he must be the one who compromised with maribe's case.

  3. Why appeal on this case which even was not of public interest then corruption related cases which had the country loose billions of money ,When guys are acquitted,you keep mum.Kenya our homeland

  4. Side shows tu, We all know she was not involved in the actual murder. Her charge should be lying to the investigators. DPP are the ones who preferred the charges and so they cannot claim to dont know what they are doing
