  1. Wow u are amazing 👏 to cook this it takes a lot of experience even some Ethiopian women don't how to cook this dish ❤❤❤❤❤💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍

  2. Are there any ideas for substitutions for meat? Chicken breast? What about deleting the meat and maybe ADD: garbanzo beans or those huge Lima beans, and potato?

  3. A friend from Africa made this for our group of friends in Grad School. I liked it so much I made an Americanized version of it, a few years later. Mad tasty & addictive if you like the spice!

  4. garlic, mekalesha, berbere powder, onions, olive oil, hard boiled eggs (I add cumin, the green leafy Ethiopian herb/spice) Sometimes i use ghee instead of olive oil to substitute the spiced butter.

  5. Far too much chicken for that pot. We typically use a whole chicken for a pot double that size. Also, you want to add boiling water. Never warm or cold water. We make it a little soupier than that, i.e add more water for all that chicken. Other than portion sizes you did a great job friend! Thank you for emphasizing the difference between Berbere and Chilli powder!

  6. you are a great cook and explained well how and what to add on. But, we don't leave the skin on at all and part of the chicken is not cut properly. We do it differently than any countries do. Thanks

  7. WOW! Doro wot is the hardest to make and you did a good job. I add half a glass dark beer after I add the berbere..its really good but its optional 🤗

  8. SweetBalls. You made that dish with pride I can see.
It's marvelous how even your stove maintains even heat throughout the cooking of your Chicken Stew from Ethiopia.
Tons of good efforts gone into that. Suits you.
Now for a good bread same as in Bahrain to pick that lot up to bite down on pure food heaven.
    Good shot.
    From Craig Lee.
