One of the biggest stimulus of Sanatan Dharma is that it is the only belief that can explain the soul, what is actually is. What it's made of, Where is it from and where does it go to. Most beliefs and religious teachings talk about God and his commandments or preachings of his apostles and doesn't explain anything about the soul and it's relationship with the almighty. If you really want to explore yourself and explore God (Bhagwan) Sanatan is the way.
