That was my experience in Egypt. I was there for 2 months and the nagging never ended. I got in the habit of just completely ignoring people and never making any eye contact. If someone was trying to talk to me, I would look away and keep walking. They are not "bad" people. They just have no other way of making a living because the entire country is corrupt from the bottom to the top.

Why do people go to Egypt to be treated like dirt. Here in Cambodia and Thailand , get treated like royalty for next to nothing.

I truly liked you Anna the first 4 or 5 videos that I watched but thlen when you start talking over your husband, I was like disrespectful and then I noticed that you push people into subscribing if we want to subscribe we know when it’s a good channel and we will do so you don’t have to push it on us so a little bit of advice to Anna give your husband some space. Let him talk when he’s talking. Don’t interrupt him because you will regret it at the end of the day. He’s a big boy he could say whatever he wants say don’t over talk don’t talk over him and don’t try to sell your channel the way you’ve been selling it over done Anna.

I'd get in trouble because I don't mind being an asshole. I'd use them for help, then when they ask me for a tip, I'd say I don't tip and walk away, and if they start it in with that whole Oh, I need to feed my starving family or animal stuff, I'd reply, yeah that sounds like a you problem. Bye.
Egypt is better in 2024. You can basically wear whatever you like. The hassling is less. Only need to cover up in mosques

These BS scams happen all over Europe and the middle east. If it wasn't for tourism and the sale of oil most of the middle east would be starving to death and as for Europe, it's just a bunch of old buildings and places that so many people has walked through, you can see the worn out concrete everywhere. Old, dusty and expensive and in a lot of places corrupt and dangerous.

This country was absolutely the worst place i’ve ever been, I planned 3 weeks but I fled after 5 days.
I’ve been to more then 35 countries on almost every continent but Egypt was a horrible living nightmare.
It’s even more catastrophic then india and Bangladesh combined.
Cairo and Giza looks war torn, the mentality of the uneducated shameless and unhygienic ppl is also war time.
I was so relieved when I was able to change my plane ticket to escape this horrendous country.

There will certainly be a group of people of poverty and ignorance who move from the countryside to attractive areas to make money, and this causes a kind of mixing between the slums and the tourist areas, so there must be no Someone would like to come and accept the reality because there are also a lot of really beautiful things in Egypt and the nice people are the residents themselves.
