  1. I bought land and had a home built. I am trying to register it but the lands commission is asking for a lot of money to register it. It is in a new development with over 100 plots of land; phase I has been sold out. My house was the first one built there. They want 3,000 cedis to register it even though I have my lease deed from the land developer already stamped by the court of Ghana. Is anyone else having an issue with the land registration being so expensive? The plot is only 100×70.

First of all before buying a land or put in your cash,pls,pls, make sure you take the documents to the registration and check that the land is not registered, then you register the land in your name, first, before you drop the cash.Also pls start something on the land or wall,so that no body take your land,or go to court for a long process. No trouble.. .. pls.

  6. ONCE YOU BUY A LAND IN GHANA AND HAVE THE RIGHT DOCUMENTS THERE IS NO EXPIRATION OF THE LEASE THEY SAY 99 YEARS FOR CITIZENS AND 50 YEARS FOR FOREIGNERS BUT IT DOESN'T WORK ONCE YOU ARE ONBTHE LAND, NOBODY CAN THROW YOU OUT 😉

  7. Please stop the scaremongering, these things don't apply anymore. Please abreast yourselves with the new legislation. Anybody who does it now may go into prison for 25 years.
    Please do your due diligence and stop ✋ putting fear into others who would want to purchase a property.
