  1. She is not from the town, you should have asked where she originally came from, every Ghanaian knows that the origin of Fante Kenkey is Central Region not the Western.

  2. Hi Fanti man!! this remind me of Mexican/Latino tamales without the filling. When I was in Ghana I had Ashanti and Fanti kenkey, I didn't like either one. But I could take the Fanti one better, forget the fufu. I wasn't told to swallow it I was chewing it and it kept growing in my mouth. But I pound fufu when I was there. I'm getting older I wanted to go to Africa next month but my friend she is sick. So I'll try to come next July for my birthday. Maybe I'll meet you there. God's willing. Do you have WhatsApp. I looked for you on Facebook but I didn't find you.

  3. This was what I used to help grandma cook and sell at Accra . It's a lot of work. Please appreciate the hard work of these traders and give them tip when you buy from them. God is good.

  4. So beautiful❤️Lucky you😊Ghanaian way of food making gives muscles and straight back and ofcourse happy stomach. Many thanks to all of you🥰I love Ghana to much. Maybe I was born there once upon a time. 😁Nice music🤗🙏🏻🤝☀️

  5. In Trinidad & Tobago similar corn dish wrapped in banana leaves. We now use regular packaged cornmeal and put either savory meat filling (pastelle) or sweet coconut with raisins (payme). Real connection to our past.

  6. Oh! That's definitely a lot of work. But looks delicious!! I definitely would love to try this. Anything made with corn? I love. ❤️ Blessings to the Ghanian women. They're such hard workers, friendly and always happy to cook and share their recipes. Thank you. 🙏❤️
