  6. The beats are good but the lyrics are poetic. There's something sweetly feminine, yet frank about this song and this young singer singing about her ripe, plump body and how much she relishes it, even though it seems as she's serving it up for a man. The metaphors of her eating lunch, which becomes her body, which then becomes dinner for her lover flows seamlessly from the verse to the chorus and it perfectly captures a young woman's coming into her self via her body, which she appreciates possibly because another appreciates it. I like the lyrics "he like it plump, he need that, need the rump and need the thighs, he eat that. Eat that up, and in the night, he seek that. In the dark, and in the ride he keep that." This girl discovers her beauty through the eyes of the male other. At least it's not one that suggests she diminish herself, at least materially. Though of course women are so much more than their bodies–I mean I am uneasy with the natural conclusion that they are literally food for babies, which arrive after all of this appreciation–it's a nice use of words, beats, images.
