The lamps aren't Turkish, as far as i know, Turkish lamps are round and made from Mosaic, But these are called the "Fanous" plural(Fawanees), Its an ancient Egyptian tradition and it was used in celebration of the rising of the star sirius, They used to celebrate the birthday of Osiris, Horus, Seth, Isis and Nephtys one by each day for 5 days, And it was used also in Christmas during Coptic era, Until when the Egyptian people came out to welcome the Fatimid caliph Al-Muizz using lanterns in the 5th day of Ramadan when he arrived at Cairo, And that's how it became associated with Ramadan and then it spread to the muslim world, If you visit Egypt, (specially that its ramadan now) You'll still see the Fanous in its traditional style, and you'll see it almost everywhere.
Please learn to pronounce the word “really” correctly

Egypt is one of the top places I'd like to visit. So much history there. Peace and love from Louisiana, USA. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." – (John 3:16)
Plot twist: the brass items are imported from india 😂
CATS are considered BAD LUCK… it's common knowledge that such items represent ENEMIES.
