  1. Amit @ 1.20..for the first time I would like to correct you. Being Hindu doesn’t conclude to be Hindi speaking only. We have Hindus from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kach to Kohima.
Else it was really good analysis

  2. I am an Indian working in Djibouti. I have also worked in Berbera. US is trying to establish base in Berbera. The Somaliland government ( not to be confused with Somalia) favors US over China. Having seen china bringing more investment and development in Djibouti than France and US ever did, the decision by Somaliland govt to favor US is going to be bad one.

  3. The problem with INSTC is that driving, whether trucks or trains, is still way more expensive by volume (not to mention fuel cost) than does traditional shipping. Looks good on a map, but in practice the INSTC will fizzle away due to costs (initial building and maintenance) and an assumption that Russia, Iran, and India will remain reliable trading partners. In other words, good luck!

  4. There are no shias, that's false and djoubti language spoken by the majoirty is somali, and france is only a offical language because, it's still a french colony. They wanted to join something called greater Somalia, but the france wouldn’t allow them. Ur information is just picked by random sources, on the internet, not eveything on the intrnet is true

  5. Amit i love your content as always thank you. Djibouti is a Somali country with an Afar minority. The Somali people have been cut in different countries by the european countries . This is very sad and was done so that Somali people dont get too powerful. We have been divided in to Djibouti (wich was french Somaliland), Ethiopia (wich was Ogaden part of British Somaliland), Kenya (wich was NFD) and British Somaliland wich is North Somalia now. Maybe it would be interesting to make a video about this. Thanks again!

  6. I am a Malayalee from Alleppey Kerala but I was born in Djibouti. My father had worked for a French Shipping Company L.Savon and Ries. He was there for almost for 32 years.
I was born at the Zenith of French rulein Djibouti.when President DeGaulle of France had visited Djibouti.

  7. The Real Battlefield… Another BRICS in the Wall… – The U.S. has been relatively short-sighted with how it has used the power of its currency. As it has sought to sanction, threaten and bully countries into the using its currency, others have been slowly building up their gold reserves and infrastructure systems. This means that the U.S. dollar sanctions will soon not mean as much as they once did. History of World Reserve Currencies

One theory put forward in William R. Clark’s book Petrodollar Warfare is that the U.S. led wars ‘are fueled by the direct effect on the U.S. dollar that can result if oil-exporting countries opt to sell oil in alternative currencies. For example, in 2000, Iraq announced it would no longer use U.S. dollars to sell oil on the global market. It adopted the euro, instead.’

When using the U.S. dollar foreign banks are required to clear payments through the US, even if they are doing business elsewhere. This can’t just happen, a dollar clearing licence from US authorities is required. This can also be quickly taken away if Washington decides it wants to punish you somehow…

Countries no longer needing USD to buy energy. SWAP lines being denied. Kicking people off of SWIFT. Seizing reserve assets of a country. All of this has consequences, in terms of USD against everything not DXY. This can and absolutely will reduce the dollar majority of world reserves, a lot faster than anyone is tracking.

The dollar was on one side of 88% of all foreign exchange trades in April last year, according to the Bank for International Settlements. The Fed estimates that between 1999 and 2019 the dollar accounted for 96% of trade invoicing in the Americas, 74% in the Asia-Pacific region, and 79% in the rest of the world… Source: Why the dollar keeps winning in the global economy> https://geopoliticsabc.wordpress.com/2023/04/19/the-real-battlefield-another-brics-in-the-wall/

  8. why wouldn´t west support one party system just like they did in soviets n germany, actually they helped to form those with funding etc, they also support ukraine that jails n prohibits all voices opposing the conflict or belensky. yet the history of western "democracy" goes thousands of years further than that.

  9. Super excellent presentation. The nation in spite of natural beauty looks like a tinder box. India has 2 see the cost effectiveness for base.
China is a late entrant. Ecology has 2 be maintained. Despite sexy beauty it is boringly hot. Amit has not mentioned about potable water and the electricity used. If some one can add I will be grateful. France should take special responsibility. French language thrives. How French failed 2 bring full Christianity? It is not clear. Rankings on HDI, Human Rights, Education etc., should have been better. It seems that the French simply exploited under colonial rule. What about gender parity index? Its population seems to be under control. Though deserted it sounds like a paradise. Poor people. God bless them. Finally, again a marvellous presentation.
Good luck to the animals. The powers that be are just selfish.
