Hip Hop is solely FBA created. Participation and contributions are not the same
These immigrants abandoned their cultures and claw onto Black American culture. Black Americans can’t enjoy their own culture in peace
A Brooklyn DJ vs A Queens Dj
DJ Self was (funny-as-hell) trying to get Rob Swift with the gotcha questions.
DJ Rob Swift does a clinic on Digital vs Analogy DJs. Bravo!
Bianca explained the DJ game using the magazine analogy.
Contributions that no one has ever denied. Latinos and jamaicans just didn't create or co-create Rap and Hip Hop.
He is dangerous! He should not be teaching anyone about a culture that he doesn’t know really anything about! That should have been the one thing that should have stayed in hip hop the KNOWLEDGE but we just let anybody in and now look it’s in us to correct this nonsense! Lies have to stop starting with Herc being the father of anything in America!
He is not take into account that that white man was doing rock and roll which was taken away from Black people!
He doesn’t seem to even get what he is saying out his own mouth he seen his self as a Black man and he has to dig deep and wonder why he felt that way!
People are crazy to say that hip hop is not Black culture that we let outsiders into which we shouldn’t have but we Black Americans had this issue of insecurity so we were willing to give whatever we had for everyone which is coming back to bit us on the ass and we
Should not care what anyone cars or says about it’s our culture it’s our history and we have to protect it!
3rd generation is the 80s that’s the problem with hip hop now people do not have the history correct
Born is 78 the thing is mugs have got to comfortable cos playing as FBA meaning the whole swag word play aesthetic fashion it comes from FBA down to now even k pop everybody is doing FBA and they wanna do it as if they ain’t cos playing. It’s fine if people want to do that but put some fuckin respect on what it is. Every bit of how people walk and talk trying to be “cool” is completely from the aesthetic and in the image of what comes from FBA.
Very interesting conversation Rob Swift.
With all due respect, I enjoyed the interview but the camera just sitting on Self while his guest is talking is horrible. I don't know who produced this but that's just weird because someone else is talking and all you're seeing is Self making faces and the individual talking is not even in the frame. Not meaning to be disrespectful, just informative. Thanks Rob Swift, you're a legend.
this guy rob swift is insulting and dangerous to Black American youth. Black people, we must learn our history and culture so when impostors like this appear, we will be able to handle them. dj self, you are a disappointment to the ancestors.
rob swift is a panamanian. he hates Black people.
Hip hip was started by Black Americans so stop the lies Jazz,Rock, church music, R&B, Stop it truth is the truth the all acted like black Americans
Hiphop is black American music
I hope he know he dont look like he's FBA..😂😂😂😂
Most of the breakbeats that created hip-hop had latin percusion and rhythm
I am so grateful for Rob Swift being in this world. Starting out as a DJ, Rob was always the pinnacle of what a top DJ is. Shout out to all the Xecutioners and Beat Junkies!!!!
Great lecture on the essence of the art
White people contributed more then Latinos
Hip Hop is Black culture. You can't create a culture thats not yours.
