It seems to be a type of congee well that it the Asian name. I make is savory but now will try it sweet. Me and my daughter eat the savory but my minis would eat it sweet. Great recipe😀

It is true, if you over-stir it becomes watery, so I understand the concept of adding the sugar to the rice water whilst it is on fire. My advice to anyone is to first check if your guest want sugar in it 😊 if so add a little then they can add the rest as desired. The more the sugar the more you’re like to stir perhaps.

Yummy. Melt some heavy cream with dark brown sugar and a little butter, pour over any leftovers rice water, add raisins. Bake till the top is golden brown and you have sweet tasty treats. 😋😋😋
