I naturally talk a lot about things I'm passionate about & a few years ago i had a boyfriend who taught me to be a better listener. If i dont watch myself, i will talk over people. Just because he is a natural performer doesnt mean giving others the platform to express themselves wont serve him. I saw a snippet of their interview on Sherri and he was doing the most.
This year, someone tried to get me to adopt some stray dogs that were hanging around the house. I tried for a week and decided it was a firm NO FOR ME. I have two children and I am EXHAUSTED. The French word crevee is the only word that captures it… Like a PUNCTURED TYRE!!! I could not even take on a puppy. These people have four children — I hear and believe him that he is TYAD.
I think he’s just tired and exhausted. Juggling it all and he just feels burnt out and it came up on an interview.

I think it could be both. Could be genuine emotion but he used a strategic moment. Regular people do this as well…it also does seem like more is going on, notice their energy and body language is VERY different from the last interview. They could be going thru burn out or at an ugly point in their marriage

I love this couple. I am not judging. Just didn't like him interrupting her but it can be out of his control. He is also an emotional person. Sometimes your work comes over into your personal. No need for the dragging. He always give his wife praise.

Let's be clear….they were unfaithful to EACH OTHER in the beginning of their marriage. They have always said they are NOT couple goals. We ask black men to be more vulnerable. But because we aren't used to it, we see it as performative. I've been following them since they were in Brooklyn. And I refuse to let anyone degrade them or the work they have done.
