Very interesting

@hildaasante7824

I'm a mental health advocate myself, a mental health nurse and I have a mental health platform. Please is there a way I can connect with youso we can have a program together. How can we connect?

@Derr_yck

sometimes all i need is someone to just listen. living with any mental disorder and not getting help is so painful a situation to be in. if you are like me, keep your hopes alive. I dunno if it'll get better but we need to be alive to change whatever is "haunting" us mentally

@nancyhagan7553

our main problem in Ghana is how we shape the children
little respect too much control over children and women due also to our culture and traditions which we do not want to change and improve because they suit our men
these cause low self esteem which lead to bad choices of Marriages No Boundaries set Cannot see and grasp Opportunities

Over 3/4 of men and women have COVERT NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDERS in Ghana due to poor upbringing and they are the worst Demons on the plant
who DESTROY ABUSE SPOUSES and their children CAUSE ALLIENATION OF a CHILD and a Parent MASTER MANIPULATORS EVIL JEALOUS TYRANTS IRRESPONSIBLE LOVE MONEY
THIS IS WHY THERE ARE A LOT OF CORRUPTION IN GOVERNMENTS TYRANTS CANTAKEROUS THIEVES POWER CONTROL FREAKS MEAN CALLOUS WHO DO NOT GRATITUDE REFLECT ETC
THEY cause a lot of Mental health issues in their children spouses families and the Nation.

Please people READ ABOUT NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDERS especially COVERT ONES and SPREAD THE AWARENESS REAL DEMONS with Charming Attitude

Some irresponsible men overfed by their mothers with Maid Servants so when they marry they cannot make decisions
and a lot of responsibilities fall on the woman who end up with mental issues

Lack of reading to bring in ideas to help the economy

Corruption Stealing Lies No trust Tribalism which cause breakdown of Economy

NO Processing of TRAUMAS and deal with them which have been GENERATIONAL CURSES for Hundreds of YEARS

NOW HUSBANDS AND WIVES ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND PHONES instead of Making a Happy Home
and Talking SHAPING THEIR CHILDREN BRAINS so they feel Good about themselves

BREAKDOWN OF COMMUNITIES SELFISHNESS
DESTRUCTIONS BY NARCISSISTIC PASTORS

ALL THESE HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO OUR MENTAL HEALTH
NOT EVERYBODY NEEDS TO GO TO HOSPITAL TALKING THERAPY MINDFULNESS GRATITUDE KINDNESS EMPATHY COMPASSION TRUTH TRUST ALL HELP OUR
MENTAL WELLBEING

The stress in Ghana,if not controlled can cause this🤦…..we are all relentlessly looking for something! I hope we find it soon….our mental health matters😇

@sarahboakye7691

We only hear about mental health during the monthly celebration in October 🥺. The facilities and structures are nothing good to write home about…..no one really pays attention to it. Great video Osei Kwame and Asetena for sensitizing us🙏🔥. God bless our homeland and it's people 💕

An important discussion. On the flip side, too much in our society is also attributed to mental illness when in actual fact people don't want to take the time to just listen to someone in distress or someone reacting to provocations so it's dismissed as mental illness. There are so many gaps in our social infrastructure that are worrisome. As he mentioned, only 2 hospitals dedicated to mental illness, both in the south. How many psychiatrists and psychologists per 100 patients? How many non-faith based crisis centres are there that offer general counseling to people? In this soceity everything is about religion. Then we come to the gaps in the legal system. The saddest part is those who do have the extra funds to help develop a robust Healthcare system would rather buy luxury cars and open clubs and restaurants.

Very true. Never heard mental health discussion in Ghana growing up…will only see a mad men on the streets and says he is mad but no one will tell you how he got there.

@AngelaKOD

And most people don’t really know what mental illness is,there must be a kind of awareness in the community’s.hmmm very sad.
