DEEP SEA FISHING – Hard Work On The High Seas | Full Documentary

Deep sea fishing – that’s working to the limit. The ships of the German deep sea fishing fleet often stay at sea for months. The hunt for the black halibut takes the team to the Arctic Circle. Storm and snow are part of everyday life here, work on board is dangerous. Great trust in their comrades and their own skills makes the crew a tight-knit…

How long before everything runs out

@islandgirl9479

The amount of fish 🐟 they caught is dead is probably the same amount of people unalived each day.

💀☠️☠️ is on rotation for everything alive ..

@islandgirl9479

I used to watch The Deadliest Catch on TV it was brutal work to catch fish for human consumption many fishermen died doing what they love..😢😥

@DeeCoastalCatch

Love it!

@R-b3u

If only the 🚢 propeller was in free wheel mode to go counterclockwise….maybe.

@malvinderkaur541

Seas are so polluted now I would never eat anything caught from wild waters

@DavidWiseman-uh1ec

The thought of doing your job weeks on end with a camera crew you can’t get away from sounds tense.

@StuartWhelan-up8vs

Love the saying touch wood even in Germany its used too

@josephbouchard7117

They used the Uncharted music, fitting!

@user-melvo9205

Raping the seat, as usual. What are they do8ng up in Greenland anyway!!

@GettingSchwiftyy

Watching the massive amount of life being pulled from the ocean saddens me

I remember when I was 15 way back in 1492, we never had technology like this, just our wooden ships and wool teeth 🤣😭😭

@rickyh4796

Very well put together Doc

@EricGiebel-hs7uv

I've seen the stress n grief of soldiers I served with,being away from family n girlfriends. And the taunting of Jody . Thankfully,I didn't have that issue. But I felt bad for the guys that did.

@EricGiebel-hs7uv

After workin that hard

Millions of blessings,

@fishingculture9125

This is not fishing. You dont do fishing with a net that you dont get to do the real job in it, is a machine that does the job.

@Welther47

We need to eat, but trawling is like a tornado through a village – very destructive to marine life.

@MarkBerenger

they really put themselves up against the clock by only testing the working equipment when you're underway before your first haul. What if it's something they can't fix and need to turn back?

@nyckhampson792

European, German, Polish and Denmark engineered,and equal efficiency had them back at SEA …Good Men

@jakkrit6910

are there any engineer on board the ship? i can imagine some accident might happen and machine break.

@summermanco

so cool😊

@mikeh1242

those fish are all dead, remind me not to buy black halibut

@Tony-1950

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

@haroldowen6001

You guys sure like the soundtrack from “Passengers”! Good movie.

@beersFilm

Horrible… What a waste, what a destruction of animal life on industrial scale. How we are gonna regret the way we destroyed nature in a couple of decades…

@pigeonlove

And most of the fish goes straight to the bin

@sonof4rt

annoying commentary, couldnt even start watching

@waxprime729

WTF?? Iv worked on several trawlers and a twin trawler. And never has the net even came close to tangle the net im the screw. Maybe mooring lines at the wharf but not fishing trawl. A single ender or the doors crossing maybe but not in the prop something is BS.

@ChadBonner
