  1. Newark, NJ is suffering because of redlining and segregation from the past. There is no "urban revival" – just middle and upper class mainly White people coming for corporate jobs or entertainment at Prudential & NJPAC. The poor are still suffering.

  2. I'm thinking yes on Reparations for Native Americans first.

I'm a Black Woman but I feel awful for the Native American People. They were the victims of genocide, their land was stolen and today reservations are rife with poverty, fentanyl and sex trafficking.

After that then we can focus on reparations for Black Americans.

  3. Slavery – democrats, KKK – democrats, lynching – democrats, Jim Crow laws – democrats, Trail of Tears – democrats, Japanese internment camps – democrats, opposed Civil Rights Act – democrats, BLM – democrats, Antifa – democrats.

  4. Reparations is actual proven victims being compensated by their actual violators.
Forcing the innocent to pay nonvictims for something that happened to neither of them is not reparations.
If you aren't out anything; You aren't owed anything.

  5. rep·a·ra·tion
    noun
the making of amends for a wrong one has done, by paying money to or otherwise helping those who have been wronged.
"the courts required a convicted offender to make financial reparation to his victim" ( so in other words, cut the check.)

  6. How many years ago about the Jews? But I don't hear nothing on that? I don't hear the whites saying I wasn't born then. So why should they blame my generation?

  7. For real reparations: they identify an actual victim of the offense in question.
They specify the abuses and damages.
They assign a dollar amount for their compensation.
    They pay the victim.
If the victim is deceased; they identify the closest living legal heir and pay them.
What is the name of the slave that you are trying to collect the unpaid reparations for?

  8. Well they need to find the African tribes that beat and hog tied them and sold them to the west. Does that include the black men and women who owned their own slaves here.

  9. Sick of Hearing about our past,Talk about the coming solution from the most high 😂Yall need 2 stop playing games, but guess what we already have reparations it's coming from GOD😂😂😂😂

  10. Ex slaveholders got $300 per enslaved Negro/AFRICAN/NATIVE/INDIGENOUS person. Japanese Internment Camp Survivors, Native Americans and Jewish ppl(Obama) all got REPARATIONS too, so AMERICAN DESCENDANTS OF CHATTEL SLAVERY, FBA, and FREEDMEN will be next🫶🏽🖤1

Stop discussin and get to cuttin🤑
$550K per ADOCS, NoTaxes for 5 generations, tuition voucher for any college/vocational institution you can test into, land and a tractor🚜 The debt will be paid one way or another🌬

  11. The African slave trade was started by African lords who enslaved their lower caste members of society. They then sold them to the Middle Eastern world, and then Europeans were involved. Every race was a slave at one point in history. Let's stop the lies!

  12. Strange, I could have sworn that the Civil War, Civil rights movement, and Affirmative Action were all "reparations". Y'know where I live we've paid the Natives for the land THREE times now, and guess what? They want another payment. These people weren't slaves; they aren't entitled to anything more. Affirmative Action was "reparations", and if these people and their families didn't use the opportunities given to them then that's their issue.

  13. The taxpayer has been on the hook for welfare, free healthcare and a whole host of other freebies since the 1960's. Who are the real slaves.
