It is done along Busia/ malaba border, kwale Tanzania border, west pokot – uganda border, migori Tanzania border, kajiado etc.

Vetting has been a common practice in the bordering communities,I could not apply for My ID while in Kabianga High school with my classmates before KCSE in 2011 because I am from Suba district.I was told to go back to my village where my chief knows our home and I had to wait until 2013 to receive my ID.and I have never complained.why do you guys from North Eastern saying that you are being marginalized? Where I come from we never had electricity until recently.we don't have tarmac roads when it rains we cancelled our journey.And poverty was the main order of the day.We never complained,we knew our leaders neglected us so we just worked hard.Conducted Harambee for fees and stood for each other

you can not give everyone citizenship because they are in Kenya. You must prove, you are a Kenyan through documents like birth certificate. your parents are Kenyan.

I think vetting is okey. Corruption is the problem. Anyone who has been to northern kenya knows that the chiefs and elders run their parallel government. If there is no Corruption you will find most of the system we have just work fine.

You know at some point you think this thing Ruto is doing one time after his term it will cost him when those are given identity cards and they are not Kenyan coming for him and that time he won't have security as president
