South Sudan has been on my list for a long time. It has always intrigued me and made me want to see what it is like on the ground due to the recent history. I managed to get access to some areas of South Sudan that have rarely been covered. This is going to be an interesting trip to say the least. Thank you for joining me. I am curious, how familiar are you with South Sudan, the world's newest country, and its recent past? Let me know below and thanks for watching. Nick 🇸🇸
“I take these dugs because nobody is responding to me so I can live and die here”
In one word
Fascinating!
What a depressive place😢, god bless🇸🇸🙏
This is just biased this page only shows the negative parts of the country while leaving out the good part typical western propaganda to potray Africa as a poor and uncivillized continent obviously we aint dumb fool! and to yall who believe this propaganda come to visit to see if all this pathetic trash is true, every country has good and bad parts but he seems to only show negative side of Africa why not show the insecure and poor neighbourboods in the US which are rocked by drugs and high crime if he is truly genuine?
Love your Truman Show reference at the end of your videos! ✌️
God bless the lady making moon shine and her family, hurt my heart
BIRTH CONTROL!
them cows look emaciated, they need some volume lol
I hope South Sudan can get a stable democratic government with honest politicians who love to serve the public instead of loving to serve themselves. This is the solution for poverty, crime and misery. The country has good natural resources that can be used to support the people and achieve a good standard of living for everyone.
Looks like so of the ghettos in the us. Wonder what’s the connections
And yet, the adults are better dressed than most Americans.
A life of crime is not a life you choose, desperation drives you into doing crazy things just to keep on living
I'm over here scared to walk in NYC then i see this man, my spirit animal <3
Omg, white dudes discovers the scars of European colonialism and current day corporations geopolitics means for profit 👍
what camera do you use?? is it something small like a go pro to be discreet? ive always wondered how people film in countries like this where it’s not very socially and politically accepted
the intro, with the music, goes so hard, not gonna lie. i know it's a difficult topic, but i like the intro.
Such a professional video. The main news outlets need to take notes. This is journalism. I no longer have any complaints about the quality of my life.
People want them in Europe💀💀💀
Western Europe and America will look like Sudan in 50 years. Thanks to the population replacement agenda.
They look so much better without the white man
well well well
Not enough investment in countries such as these and fossil fuels would be a huge part of that
yea, thats what overpopulation looks like.
Great doc, i just wish there was more covered on the girls/women's experience here, I imagine it's very dangerous for them
I thought this was California?
Colonialism isn’t looking so bad…..
When will blck people ever be at at TOP OF THE LIST, not always at the BOTTOM
Where them kangs i’ve been hearing about?
Thank you for showing me what state of Palestine would have become in 1948 if not saved by Jordanian occupation!
This is heartbreaking, I recently did an essay on the current status of South Sudan and there is so much here that is NEVER stated in the media. Especially the drug use. Thank you for bringing all of this information to light.
The young man who says he does drugs because no one responds to him so he can just die in the city 😭
@6:10 the steel truss bridge is sagging noticeably and unevenly on each side. That usually doesn't happen to a steel truss bridge unless it was very badly put together or rusting out. Or it was used for loads it wasn't designed for? Maybe military equipment or heavy trucks?
The rural areas in Darfur were ravaged by the Janjaweed during the civil war. Entire villages seemed to move but looked almost the same each time. All houses were a low perimeter wall surrounding a compound containing one small hut. I could only see them on google earth so couldn't tell how tall things were. It is a very "organic" pattern built from available stones or mud bricks and resembling the cell growth of a plant. It must be as ancient as one can find on earth. No infrastructure of any kind. Human waste must juit dry up instantly and/or evaporate in the bone dry desert. The place was so dry people just walked across the river bed to the central market area. The regular traffic made the road a slightly different color – reddish- than the surrounding light tan dessert. Some agency had tried to create a modern settlement of small huts on a grid but most people rebuilt what they were used to. The organic pattern probably reflected their social life and family networks far better. It's amazing that human life can survive on such simple means and in such harsh conditions. The people of Darfur must have been living like that for tens (maybe hundreds) of thousands of years?
Their culture….no matter where they go.
Well if you're ever not happy living in the EU or the US, just watch this video and you are good again.
Bro had balls of steel to even arrive to South Sudan huge respect man
Everyone seemed so nice and polite… then you have the drunk trash children.
You either get your shit together or you end up a trash kid or child soldier.
There's so much potential for south Sudan but it has so many obstacles. I think the people will make south Sudan a beautiful safe country…. as long as they don't get drunk and end up in the trash.
That 20gallons of wine for 15$ seems like a great deal
You taught me so much about the world that I would never get from anywhere else
Great video. We’re in the 21st century and men are trading cows for women.🙄
At 16min you really look like a jerk.
Their leaders steal their wealth thats how they treat each other
Half-second sequencing of images has no education value….
Why on earth would anyone go there for anything?
BAD PARENTING/NO PARENTING and lack of family support needs to be highlighted here. Zero family. Probably dead parents. Most likely because of the help of the CIA. Just awful.
So many of them speak English
So if i happen to be white, i might be in danger, no way
not the cow running from a white man😭
i’m mixed w sudanese, i definitely see where i get my height from
Imagine thinking these people can add anything of value to the West
