He did his best, far much better than some out here that abandoned their kids from a tender age.
From his tribute when he said the time has come for me to atone for my sins, that caught my attention. Those were the words of a person saying goodbye. He was in so much pain, and guilt. Although he was not present In her earlier days. he had made up for it when they reconnected, but it seemed like he had not forgiven himself.
If Jambi's mother is not married to the fathers of the children she had with them, for some reason (they were just friends , had other families, etc.) they entered into a financial agreement and took care of their children despite being physically separated. And this explains the fact that although they received financial help from their fathers (Barbara's father is Italian), and in this case from Mr. Koikai, they never talked about it and instead portrayed Jambi's mother as a strong woman who made many people curious about how she could afford to pay for their children's education in private schools by living in a mud house before moving into the villa. But why then the fundraising? Sad ending. RIP.
