Abby verbally and psychologically abused these young girls and shes trying to come across like a saint and these young women are still dealing with the trauma

Ughh….I was SO addicted to “Dance Moms”. Abby was a BULLY, FOR SURE!! The “Moms” were kinda crazy….TRUE!!…BUT, Abby Lee was TOXIC!!……Don’t think she has “learned”, a THING, from her experiences.

season 3 episode 1- Abby type casting the girls, a direct quote from her "If you're casting for the lion king, maybe you are only gonna cast nia"
season 3 episode 12- The way Abby made Nia "fight" for the role of rosa parks…..wtf was that about? Abby could've made that a very empowering moment for Nia but instead made it uncomfortable and awkward, saying that kendall could take her place as rosa parks.

season 4 episode 6- claiming chloe is "sneaking out the back door to meet some guy". That's actually disgusting, mainly bc chloe is a CHILD.
season 4 episode 16- abby going to the judges to beg them to change the score of chloe's solo so she wouldn't get 1st & have kamryn beat her
season 4 episode 31 (nationals) – making fun of a child medical condition; Abby told Christi to "get that kids eye fix" references Chloe who was diagnosed with silent sinus syndrome, a rare condition that causes the eye to appear sunken and can affect vision over time. Chloe had to undergo surgery to correct the issue.
season 8 episode – admitting she "never wanted chloe to win" (THATS LITERALLY UR STUDENT WTF?)

season 3 epsidoe 35- blaming maddie AGAIN for not raising her hand the first time abby asked her to do her survivor solo at the recitals.
season 4 episode 1- Yelling at Brooke and then asking the kids their opinions about Brooke (involving the other children/ making the children fight)

i don’t understand why she would interview abby without any background or context to most situations. a lot of what was discussed was crap and it’s awful to all the victims of this woman and the show; yes, the show is to blame as well.
p.s many abusers have lovely moments with their victims and it doesn’t mean the abuse wasn’t real.
I’m very torn whether I like Abby or not. As a child and dancing competitively for so many years I always wanted her as a teacher or one like her tbh. Growing up and seeing how the children are traumatized and going through a lot mentally from the show and Abby it makes me look at her differently but part of me wishes I still had her as a dance instructor…

Abby would have been there for days…possibly months, talking about herself, if she wasn't scooted along (no pun intended). Heather isn't ghost writing an Abby Lee Miller memoir, it's an interview. She's got her own shit to do. I loved the interview, and am a huge dance moms fans, but I don't need to hear Abby go on for any longer. Heather, you're a professional!
