  1. Living in American has been disappointing for Women of color at my age I’ve seen so much racism, hatred and it’s time to move forward and make life better, easier with my family constantly being mistreated in
    America the hate, disrespect
I ask myself this question is
why stay. So looking forward to see what’s in South Africa.

  2. Take a lot is more expensive on most regular branded essentials, snacks and luxuries than your online retail stores ,so rather stick to online retail stores and freshness guarantees .

  3. YOU MUST DO SOMETHING ON ELON MUSK AND HIS ELCTION STEALING IN SOUTH AFRICA , HE DID IT IN A LATEN COUNTRY HE IS MASKED BEHIND THE WHITE RACIST AND ALSO START A BOYCOTT OF HIM I. AFRICA ,, HE HAS DAMAGED KENYA AND NOW IS IN NIGERIA TO GET THEM ,, YALL MUST STOP ELON MUSK

  4. Absolutely love the mention of the paper towels. I was shocked at the wastage when I travelled the US. People buying such unnecessary things just for more landfill. Another thing I have a serious problem with is the plastic water bottles. Cape Town has extremely good water straight out of the taps (despite the fear mongering) and we have underground spring water with public spring points where a person can collect the most amazing, fresh water at no cost, yet tourists(and some more wealthy South Africans) are buying huge amounts of bottled water. Most of us Capetonians (I can't talk for the rest of the country as my knowledge is more Cape Town based) are extremely environmentally conscious and this is very detrimental for the environment. People don't want to hear it though. So many insist on rather living in fear of water and adding to our landfill.
PS. I love your videos. So accurate. Thank you for giving a more true and realistic view of South Africa to people abroad.
And please support local. As in Takealot. There are many South Africans not happy with Amazon. There is a strong feeling that they will kill small businesses which is something we can not afford right now. I don't feel we have enough of a working class to support extreme capitalism. Small businesses are already struggling with all the other problems they have to navigate through.

  5. My brother lives in South Africa but I never plan to visit.Just doesn't seem inviting and I dont get along with Afticans in America or most immigrants. Just give people credit for leaving their home country but it isn't for me. Good luck but all I see is poverty in South Africa and Africa in general

  6. Nope, you cannot compare Johannesburg to rest of South Africa. Every area is different. If you come to Pretoria, you will get another culture shock. Or Durban, or Free State. Each area is unique. It is like trying to say Utah is the same as California when you go to the USA. And no, flights are not affordable. We don't travel, because we can't afford it. Even traveling between Jhb and Pretoria is most of the times too expensive

  7. Do you ever feel like you are in danger of being robbed, raped, or
Kidnapped ? I keep crazy dangerous posts on the internet about South Africa and J -burg is where I need to visit for business.

  8. Ashley if you’re bringing US dollars, then of course, you would find the flights cheap, but for most South Africans, they are unaffordable. Not everyone earns a big, fat salary, in order to take a flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town, never mind to stay in a B & B when you get there. It’s very expensive for the average citizen.

  9. Lol in my experience, school holidays you either get shipped off to a family member somewhere for a visit, or you stay at home. US Summer break is much longer but obviously they have summer school and stuff.
