This continent was preserved and not exploited yet, Sis! So many opportunities and discoveries await us…😘
Y
Weyni, do you know what is funny about this democratic country of ours is the reality of prejudice that a black foreigner would have open doors to live and settle amongst prejudice whites cape townians only if there is proof of lineage (born and bred) in the west
As you have said, ukuthi you're thinking about moving with me your family to cape town. You would have to concele your Ethiopian and Eritrean nationalities,
For example, A native black South African person or family will have so many obstacles and frustration that will hinder them from residing in the land of cape town, in and around economic viable areas where white citizens as well as white foreigners settle ,unless ofcourse you are in a mixed race family union, such as the all celebrate black men in the media. abosiya and mmusi etc etc .
Now what do you call such reality post apartheid?
Democracy ?
Kanti what is the meaning of the word?
As a black South African, I am confused 🤔
Thank you again for such an honest and respectful detailed lense of your experience in this part of Africa, My sister from another mother 😍
Very soon and realy soon everything will. Flip over and these people who came to Africa and lied through exploration, missionary work where they were teaching us about a liar of white jesus ,history of Africa of great Kimgdoms Nubia,Cushite ,Buganda ,zulu kingdoms,Asante kingdom ,Kongo kingdom etc ,deleted our people .Their leadership is coming to the end .Continue in establishing this new African Kingdom that is here ! where Berlin conference African Artificial boundaries will be irrelevant,we want one Africa.
Violence during the elections, why? That saddens me😢😢😢
Hi Salam, I'm from Djibouti 🇩🇯 and I found your YouTube channel by chance. All your video are well informative and also your English is so perfect. I wish you continued success.
I’m glad I ran across your channel
Orania, ill tell you what I personally think,it shouldn't exist at all and yes im South African,my nubian and african people were supposed to have the right to all land and Africa as a whole without a need for passports as we didn't not have that before colonization,it pains me that we aren't uniting against such injustices yet we al belong to the mother land , something needs to be done by all Africans about this, thank you sisi,❤your inputs and insight ,keep up the good and empoowering work,we need to come together
Orania is a parasite and a cancer that the government is tolerating. How can you live among people and hate them so uncompromisingly in their own house. Totally senseless.
our army is in DRC and people don't even know whats going on or who we fighting because of the selective coverage by the media
They say we are overpopulated because they don’t want us to procreate, our numbers threaten them. It is easier for them to control us when we are in small numbers.
You are absolutely right—many South Africans are unaware of the genocide in Ethiopia. I was informed through alternative platforms like YouTube, as mainstream media tends to either underreport or overlook such issues. This realization has motivated me to pay closer attention to events across the African continent, especially those affecting our home Africa.
Orania ….they are not bothering anyone . there were a couple of black rural leaders who visited the town to get advice and see how they are running the place to takethat back to their villages . these people are not a burden on the government . and maybe others can learn from them . white people are south African too the English and the afrikaaners . so I don't know why you so shocked .
the rich and poor are across all races in south Africa . people just assume all whites are rich . its not the case ,. that's why I don't get when people blanketly say that white people are all privileged and a rich black person is disadvantaged …… it makes me sad when that's the picture that gets painted .
as a South African i can tell you here & now!! the War in Tigrae & all other pogroms in Africa are NOT in our local Zietgiest or local news at all(refer to patterns of ownership & our history in the last 70yrs or so), you'll have to get out of your way to hear even a PEEP! about anything passed Harare & it's no joke.
heck! were it not for youtube & channels like TUNACHEKI & even other US channels i doubt i'd even know that the peace deal was signed here in RSA (and i had to get this information from the Jimmy Dore show of all places), it would be shameful if it wasn't so sad.
P.S – if you're reading this & want to share more outlets i can go to for news on YOUR corner of our continent, please do so, it can be anything! politics, entertainment (why must i hear about Yame from Timbaland for instance) etc …
I also enjoy listen to your can pay avisit again and stay longer
Orania is just a farm nothing more..
South Africa is the mini USA
Am shocked that there is a narrative that africa is overpopulated. Overpopulation is a not problem world wide the issue is few people are hording the land.
Interesting take on Orania. I have a slightly different view. South Africa was not just traumatised by colonialism, racism and apartheid but also by intolerance. Also, the logic of the New South Africa is not one of majoritarianism but one where we disagree with our neighbours, fellow South Africans but we engage with them and win them over by our argument and ultimately our actions. i was in high school in 1994 and most white people were of the view that black South Africans wanted to slaughter them and take over their homes…none of that happened. Orania might be annoying to some people but ultimately the idea of a "white homeland" will fail because it can't work anywhere in the world, never mind in South Africa where we are so inter-connected across the racial divides.
Orania is a private own land. If you and your 20 friends buy a land and decide to not allow anyone on that land there is nothing wrong. Its only politicians like Malema who racially devides SA
You are so beautiful ❤️
Your pronunciation of english words are so South African. No struggle to hear you
🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
We will love to have you here sister❤
Very happy to know you left Germany.
We Germans don’t need anyone else here💪🏻
They denying Africans to know about each others problems sad part this wars still taking place in Africa Sudan,Ethiopia,Congo and Mozambique 😢
Beautiful⚘️
You know the crazy thing as a South African,i m pretty updated about my current affairs, and its the first time im hearing about the war in Ethiopia..its sad realy
Well my sister some of the events happening in the continent tend to be filtered & some of the happenings we learn abt them from social media…besides history taught us that Ethiopia was never colonized therefore assume that you guys are having little to no challenges, come to think of it i onli know those beautiful flight attendants from your country. (and tht Ethiopian airline is the most successful in africa)…maybe y'all should share a lot of your stories on socials…cos thts wher all hidden news are shared.
I know about the war was reading about it frequently. Remember seeing the images of hundreds of people killed in church. You met people who were not knowledgeable that does not mean the whole of Sans don't know. That was during the wars in Bhagdad, Kuwait also in Bosnia, Hersgovonia. Was a teenage girl living in rural areas then but had radio and reading newspapers daily.
Orania is one of the best complex in South Africa, So all complex are doing the same, it not just that white they isolate the blacks. I used to stay in Orania before I only find that it boring, So make a proper research before you make a video and we sick and tired of foreign people who always make videos complain about South Africa while they want SAns to comment on their videos so that they gonna make money, So please make sure you make a research
Why would we care about Ethopia when Ethiopians dont care about it?? Nobody cares about Ethopia
Feeling shocked by a very small racist town and then claiming that apartheid still exists because of this small town is crazy. South Africa has around 59.89 million people… so a small town of 4000 racist people does not mean that apartheid is still alive. I do, however, agree with your statement that no argument warrants the existence of such a town.
The racism in our country is manifesting less and less with each generation… it's more the older generations that still feel very strongly about the issue (but they then obviously influence the younger generations with their teachings, stories, and way of life).
that was nice video
I am from SA and i fo know about the civil war in Ethiopia. Eritrea. Sudan….
Come again my sister. I hope you will keep enjoying our country all the time.
No, they will never learn their lessons of all the horrible atrocities that was carried on by their ancestors, because South Africans for example haven’t realize that they’re enabling this Apathy to continue on their soil. How in God’s name do you allow some of the most hateful people on this planet children to decide what will be done on your soil as South Africans? In my opinion, yes to those of them who were born there are citizens but their citizenships must stop to a point knowing what their ancestors did to Black people. I am not spreading hate I’m being really concern for my people and their safety. They should not be allowed to make decisions such having an area that are prohibiting the original owners of that land from living on.
Baby girl u so beautiful. Will you marry me, i'm South African and you rocking me ryt now.
Average South Africans do not read news about Africa, some cannot even tell you how many official languages in their own country, some cannot even narrate their clan names or genealogy, because you are ignorant, do not expect them to know about Ethiopian history, and the recent conflict of Tigris regiom
If I was the government, I would have never allow such separate settlement, where they do not want other race in their town, I would have ask UN to find a place in Europe where they will culturally connect
They're many of them homeless white people
South Africa is an INDUSTRIALISED, EUROCENTRIC Country – The space between our National Roads ( N1, N2 (KZN ) , N3 , N9 is part of good planning. The roads without space ( Easrern Cape – Transkei ) have very little tourism and are very dangerous with goats, pedestrian crossing roads.
Very delightful to speak about our beautiful country like this. You are so respectful ❤
Hi Weyni I as a South African am also surprised that there was genocide going on in Ethiopia the only place i knew the was genocide is Congo maybe it's being hidden from the general African public to make it seem like there's stability in the African Continent that's my opinion.
COme back again
Whoa Ethiopians business men never hired a SAns for jobs while they running businesses in SA soil and they don't want their employees to get a break, lol it a shock and embarrassing
You have a fair opinion and coolness of Ethiopian who grew up surrounded by whites, on your move to Cape Town though i would recommend you to reconsider the decision, Cape Town is not a friendly city especially if you are black it's nice for holidays but permanently staying there kinda sucks it'sexpensive too. The place i would recommend for you to consider is Midrand in Joburg, it's vibrant, people are super friendly, it's multi racial and all races get along with each other. It has good schools for your children and job opportunities are available.
WOW…Amazing that some of these things are still happening on the continent…This was great….Thanks for sharing your personal experiences…
