By banning Al Jazeera in Israel the Netanyahu Government wants to ensure that Israeli citizens do not see the appalling images of death and destruction in Gaza ,and remain completely ignorant of the truth. During my stay in Thailand in January – February this year, I could follow the news reporting on Gaza by Al Jazeera in my hotel room, and was shocked by what I saw. It changed my whole idea and conception of Israel though I already had my doubts. Israel has under Netanyahu become the Nazi-state of our time with an official policy of genocide.
