Couple Travel South Africa: Day One – Table Mountain Hike, Cape Town
Our first full day in South Africa, we decided to hike the iconic Table Mountain in Cape Town.
Without knowing, we took one of the more difficult routes up to the top and a leisurely stroll quickly became a terrifying climb.
We are happy to say that by the end we had conquered the mountain.

Scary hike but amazing views! It's always the case 🙂 I hiked the Platteklip Gorge route when I went, but would love to go back and try a more difficult path. Beautiful day for it though, and I love how quiet the trail is.
Cape Town is one of those places we really want to visit. The hike up to Table Mountain looks a little intense, but I bet the views were worth it.
Visiting South Africa someday and definitely putting this on our bucket list. The hike trail at Table Mountain is awesome. Terrifying climb but so worth it. Stay safe!
