  1. For generations some black people here and even in Africa would go to extremes to look lighter skinned than they naturally are. If the same black people wanted to look darker than they naturally are, why would it be offensive?

  2. I do wear anything that does not naturally come with my presence. I just take care of my hair, nails and skin through natural self-care. Even if were to buy cosmetics, why would I entrust my skin to people who time and time again have shown that they do not care about black people?!

  3. Thankful for you educating us in the USA 🇺🇸 about These companies! Don’t know the black owned companies!!!!!! Thank You ♥️

  4. Nope I don't feel offended, they are just obsessed with black folks. I thank God for creating black because I have people who are obsessed with me and can't get enough of me. They know we have beautiful skin but they don't want to admit it.

  5. I’ve never understood why these cosmetics companies and clothing advertisers love to have the darkest and baldest of black women standing next to the most beautiful women of other races in their TV ads and billboards for the world to see?

It pisses me off to see that. I wish that those black women would stop being complicit in their own embarrassment because they clearly don’t respect us…we can do better!

  6. I am African and I have NEVER seen anyone with a black skin that is actually black ! We have a dark brown skin which is still brown. If you dilute the shade they made you will get gray. That’s ridiculous

  7. We should stop worrying about what other races think of us. I don't give the b. s. any power and I am so not offended. We should all learn to love and accept ourselves. Stop allowing others to define us because it should always be, how we see ourselves. If this affects your self -esteem as a melanated person, you've got some work to do. Remember, people who hate ,has a problem with themselves, it's not about you , it's about them needing to face their own shadow and the truth about themselves. There are other companies to shop with.

  8. Son 1:5  I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. 🤔🤔❓

Son 1:6  Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept. 💯

  9. So why aren’t BW mad and complaining about skin Bleach that makes them unnaturally whiter, or blonde weaves & blue contacts etc.
Why only when it’s making them darker. There is a popular African model ‘Nyakim Gatwech’ who is almost that dark & ppl comment how beautiful she is. What’s wrong with imitating her beauty now ? 👀
