I always say that none of the absolute bullsh!t going on in the world today(and for a stupid long time already) is going to stop unless there's a big enough catastrophe, whether it be man-made or natural. I always expected it to be another World War(with a few nukes tossed in for fun) or natural events like a massive volcanic eruption(like the Yellowstone super cauldron which is historically due) or a huge but non-Earth-killing asteroid being flung out of the Kuiper Belt at us. Who knew it would only take a little pesky pandemic? Who knows, maybe coronavirus will wipe out enough of us before forests are killed off due to increased global temperatures and instead start emitting carbon dioxide from being burnt up like in Australia or the continued purposeful burning down of the Amazon.(tropical rain forests in the Amazon and Africa already absorb 1/3 less carbon than they did in the 90's due to over-saturation of carbon) Hell, we don't even really need to be killed of by coronavirus. How long do you think it will take for public services to break down enough to reach the point of some real post-apocalyptic-like fun to begin?
