Corneille Nangaa leads rebel coalition in DRC as government rejects talks, citing Rwanda’s influence

Corneille Nangaa, former election chief, now leads the Congo River Alliance, including Rwanda-backed M23 rebels. They control parts of North Kivu, claiming to fight bad governance, but the DRC, UN, and others blame Rwanda. Nangaa, once sanctioned for electoral fraud, now faces a death sentence for treason. He insists on dialogue with Kinshasa,…

The Rwanda backed army toope 😂
When will you come with a clear proof documentary with evidences of that statement?

When a country fails to protect its people the people themselves will do it. That is what happened in Uganda on Amin regime and Also in Rwanda in 1990

Naanga doesn't lead anything. He's just a puppet figurehead with no honor propped up to give a congolese face to a foreign invasion.

If he was fighting for false course, he wouldnt be getting so much support from Congolesse, and president of Congo would not need to get help from outside becuase he does not have support from his own people. Change the president of Congo, and peace will prevail

People should stop listening to US and Western news channels. They are spreading lies and propaganda they are evil and don't care about us. There are more than 100 armed rebel groups in DRC, who is supporting them, why are they not concerned about who they are and who is supporting them. SA ARMY IS IN DRC BECOUSE SOUTH AFRICAN COMPANIES ARE MINNING MINERALS IN DRC. Europe, US and China also have their hands in the plate surely they are all behind the chaos. If you are in Africa and you depend on foreign news channels to tell the African narrative you are a lost soul. WHY DO WE ALLOW THEM TO DIVIDE US. You do not need to be an expert or a Geologist to understand that the the colonial border between Rwanda and DRC did not did not divide minerals under ground what is in DRC MAY also be in Rwanda.

Yet people in Goma are celebrating . The M23 leader said he wants. Congo that works for Congolese not a failed state that allows foreigners can take what they want while Congolese people lack decent roads, infrastructure, hospitals and schools.
The man is going for the whole Congo.
    We are witnessing a revolution.

These guys are not genuine at all. There is something fishy about these rebels and rwanda most certainly has a hand in this. Kagame had a hand in both Congo wars and has been itching for a new conflict ever since. And for those of you idiots who think some rally means the people support them, go and google the Liberian Civil wars. When samuel Doe took control of Liberia from Tolbert the people loved it until he tanked the economy and attacked other ethnic groups giving rise to charles taylor. Congolese people want to et out from under Felix Tseshekedi boot and are will to support anyone and anything that will provide them a breath of fresh air as we saw in Gabon 2 years ago with their coup. However, these aren't technocrats, they are illerate rebels working for Rwanda and the west by extension and most surely have no plan for all congolese people, but rather install a tutsi president to continue the flow of mineral out of Congo, into Rwanda, and out of Africa ultimately. The people will not benefit from their rule.

The recognition of Banyamulenge and other Congolese Kinyarwanda speakers as citizens would end this war but if systematic marginalization and segregation of Kinyarwanda speakers in congo remains a gov't policy then i don't guarantee that there will be peace in congo any time soon. The oppressed people will always fight back and defend their rights no matter how long it takes they will win since i believe that there's no amount of force that can ever defeat a people who are fighting for their own survival and genuine causes that need to be addressed by any means necessary preferably with peacetalks ratherthan congo and her allies wasting resources on a war it can never win. M23 movement is laying a blueprint for all people who are fighting an existential threat posed by their government how they can fight back.

Stop spreading propaganda by labeling M23 as a Rwanda-backed group; otherwise, you are endorsing the FARDC coalition, which includes the FDLR and other extremist groups working together to complete the 1994 Tutsi genocide in the DRC!
