  1. My most favourite food ever but thats not Eto….sorry. You have to use a combo of ripe and semi ripe plantain or even unripe plantain. Its not meant to be super sweet. When made well…its absolutely the best food ever. Good effort though

  2. The plantains he used were a bit too ripe for etor. You should use the one that has juuuuuuuuuust started to ripen up. When the peel is still green and yellow (too green- not ready for etor. Fully yellow- too ripe for etor)

  3. Eii my beautiful daughter venessa,,,you said you cant cook? Pls dont disgrace us ghanian women..Every ghanian girl or woman knows cooking,,.Vanessa plse arrange with one of your coursins to teach you a bit about cooking…plsssssss. And never stand on your atforn and say you cant cook…Marinta went to her grandmaa to learn cooking..I watched that .pls make it a big point and learn a bit cooking.love you preety.

  4. Tell him to stop the fooling, talking about I was born in Ghana, lived in Ghana but don't speak any Ghanaian language. I will like everyone he comes in contact with to curse him out in our local language, I have no sympathy for ppl like this. Get outta here!

  5. We eat vegan in January, so this is right on time. It reminded me of salsa too. I fell out when you didn't have salt. I love how real you are! He was super pleasant and laid back.

  6. I am sorry Vanessa, that was a FAIL! Please find an authentic local cook, you never use ripped plantain for eto, His presentation was so bad, that was not eto! Who recommended him to you! Please do this episode again, with a Ghanaian mother. What he did was like fufu. For the first time, Vanessa you failed to do a proper research, in fact the red flag was him not speaking any Ghanaian language, even though born and bred.

  7. I'm so sorry. I know I'm supposed to be watching this for the food but I can't help but to acknowledge how handsome this chocolate man is. Praise God for his wonderful creation. 🙌🏾

  8. 😳😳😳 Vanessa, I can't believe you can't cook, even though you have a Ghanaian father… I suppose it depends on a lot of different things. I can't remember either of my parents teaching me to cook but I'm here and I learned from others and a lot of trial and error😅

  9. Using the earthenware is a skill. It's actually takes some amount of time to be good at it. Even the guy isn't doing it right. Vanessa you tried 😄😄
